How to select the TOG?

TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) is the value that determines the temperature of a sleeping bag. The higher the TOG, the warmer the sleeping bag will be. This is an indicator; however, how you dress the baby underneath the bag and the insulating layers of the mattress also influence the sleeping bag's performance.

You can use this table as a guide to determine the TOG and the amount of clothing needed.
