The Advansafix PRO car seat is evolving, suitable for children from 15 months old and 76 cm tall up to 150 cm (approx. 12 years old) approved under the R129 (i-Size) safety standard. It always travels forward-facing, and the transition from the five-point harness (76-105 cm or 22 kg) to the three-point belt with SecureGuard (100-150 cm) is quick and easy with the FLIP&GROW system.

76-105 cm or 22 kg: 5-point harness

From 76 cm and 15 months up to 105 cm height or 22 kg weight (whichever comes first), the child is secured in the car seat with a five-point harness, which distributes impact forces across five points: two at the shoulders, two at the hips, and one at the buckle located between the legs. The harness pads reduce the child's movement in the event of a collision, as well as providing greater comfort for the harness. At this stage, the car seat is installed using Isofix and a top tether.

100-150 cm: belt with SecureGuard

From 100 cm in height (and no later than 105 cm or 22 kg), the child is restrained directly with the vehicle's three-point seat belt, in combination with SecureGuard. This piece adds a fourth anchor point to the belt to keep the central part in the correct position over the pelvic area, preventing it from dangerously rising to the abdomen. It helps reduce forces on the abdomen by up to 35% in the event of a frontal impact. At this stage, the car seat is installed using Isofix.

When it's time to switch from the harness to the seat belt, the transition will be much easier thanks to the FLIP&GROW function. Simply press a button to unlock the headrest and adjust it to the required height, then store the harness (without removing the chest pads) in the back of the backrest, behind the cover, so it doesn't get lost. Next, move the FLIP&GROW adjustment plate, rotate it to position the SecureGuard over the car seat, and the transition is complete.
